=-\ assuming it is, no leads on this topic yet, tried testing but with epic pen on my sorc and arash at lvl 20something, can't really investigate.. and haven't met any monks yet that survive the mords/bigsby's/igms reign of chaos, working on my own monk but takes alot longer to level here than most meelee classes (which isn't a bad thing)

The only thing I have to say to Menok is tough cookie nibblies honey bun. You are an ignorant, offensive human being in game, and now that you were shown the rough side of high lvl/DM intervention you are crying. Do I not remember you claiming that you could call on a lvl 40 or two at will to exact retribution? So you lost 2400 xp . . . I am playing the smallest violin for you . . . that is 2-3 good rat runs at any lvl above 20ish.
Also, I have a sneaking suspicion you got on NS using some of your other BoD members' chars and assaulted a friend of mine and me, using a solar to cause XP loss. Apocalyse sure was acting strange for a few days there . . . .
In short, pack up the whining, unless you are a decent human being and have a legit grief, and get back to playing the game like a useful member of humanity.

I wasnt there to see this, as I play ns3.5 now which is a much more friendly environment where people work together to help eachother out..
anyway..one issue i havent seen examined was when a dm killed arcane for casing AoE spells within sight of the gates to avendell. This was before the rule was put into place. She also went on to kill me and nom for fighting eachother as well, without any warning. The only thing I ask from DM's is if im doing something wrong is to be warned, and if i repeat it then i deserve to be killed or de-leveled. In this case it seems the DM's gave no such warning..a lot of players arent used to seeing stuff like this happen so they immediately think its a hacker. I myself always think a dm is messing with me when i see something odd. I guess what im trying to getting across is just to ask the DM's to make it more obvious it is them trying to resolve order and not a hacker or something else. And to give warnings before you start killing people.

I see Lework's reasonable point, but I also see it from the POV of the devs/DM's -- they wanted a hands off intervention style akin to that of a DnD god. You get whacked out of the blue, it is prob b/c you just messed up, so stop being a tardo and get on being normal. I have no clue what really went on or who was told and warned and too busy to see or too dumb to read well, but it sounds like the DM's did an ok job.
I seriously think they went way to far. Half the time I have no HUD displayed (means I don't see chat windows, hotkeys, nothing). Especially when I'm in PK. I know my hotkeys blindfolded, so the more screen and more FPS (yes, you do get more FPS from lowering your HUD) the better.
I mean, really. That uber NPC was specificly made to look like a PC. And then wtf is it doing standing RIGHT outside the door of the spawnpoint?
Little overkill if you ask me.

I'll admit, i was in the fight but i left early and never witnessed the uber NPC (although i wud have liked to). All this whining about lvl 25+ running rampant is bs, personally i think this is always going to be a problem with this server. Period. I dont think putting a lvl cap will help either (apart from the sudden drop in players that is!) I think things should just progress as they have always done (joined 6-7 months ago) albeit with the extra policing.
