Limit of 1 Prc?

Post by crippe13 »

I know I read a post by Joran a while back saying they were trying a limit for a while and would decide later after seeing how it went. I've been away for almost a month so I might have missed something... but just wondered what the current status on this is now.

No changes have been made at this time. Still limited to one Prestige Class per character.

the thing that pops to me for me is a rogue/assassin with a level of shadowdancer for HIPS

Things like damage adept too. Paladin/CoT/WM.

Crazy Saves, Perfect AB, amazing crits, plenty of feats, and self buffing spells along with divine skills that make you a bit insane.

Breaking PrC's up allows a Cot to be good, but without the crit potential of the WM, and the WM is good, but without the divine skills and crazy saves and feats of a CoT.

Thanks for the speedy replies :) I think I like the way things are... but I'll miss my bard/AA/RDD  And I agree there are way too many 'power' builds available. Now where did that druid/shifter/monk go..?? See ya'll in game again :)

You cant make a druid shifter monk either as shifter is only allowed in TC where as monks arent :D...

Someone mentioned that it wasn't fair that LA didn't have it's own personal PrC. I vote they can have the Harper if they want.

Would kind of suck if you wanted to take harper scout you get 5 levels of it and not being able to take another PrC.

LOL.. already found that one out.. I was trying at a little sarcasm...

And Harper is a Prc, so it probably is limited... nuts another thing to test....

So for people who want to make a bard/rdd/wm, they are SoL?

Is there no way to implement level requirements for PrC's so that cheesing no longer becomes as major an issue?

You have it correct. You might want to suggest any "non-cheese" dual-PrC suggestions to the Ideas and Suggestions board.
