Spellcraft SR question

I used to know this, but my brain stopped working when I went back to college. So...

As a Drow I have SR of 5 +1/level. So what would my SR be at level 40. Also, I seem to remember that putting points into spellcraft you gain SR. Is this true? Does it stack with Drow SR?

Spellcraft is saves (per 5 point total) not SR.

1/level = 1 per level

so level 40 = 40 + 5 (because the whole formula is 5 + 1/level)

spellcraft gives saves vs spells specifically, so it doesn't show on your character sheet and it doesn't work against anything that isn't a spell.

spellcraft don't work vs all spells the same...
There is some spells who will consider spellcraft only for first save .
Ex : Storm of vengeance : at second round of save, spellcraft is not count...
Many AoE spells work like this, bigby 9, etc...
with 100 spellcraft you will take max bonus of +20 vs saves (game cap the saves at +20)
