yea too often happens that the same guy you can easily beat on 1 on 1 , tears you apart because your dragon is stuck in some sort of fence, or the small rooms.
There is a thread about the AO guards being so useless after their true seeing was removed?

If any of the faction guards are a problem (even NC v evil) after level 30, you're doing something wrong. By something, I mean everything :)

Twig'Zilla of AO lvl 13, ATM in persuit of acceptable slaves, sleep solos NC defenders all the way to Daeron. NC npc defenders are anemic and all to willing to die upon Twigs blade. Still searching for one worth putting to work carring dragon dung.

Yeah, that is why almost all his NC chars are on a search warrant in Daeron. No, I don't think it is shamed :). Besides the only faction without any overbearing lords is Melencia. But then again, they (we?) don't even have a proper city. A hole as a cradle and really the only reason we even go back there, are the cookies. So, I said it...
