Naming Summons

I've seen several people with named summons. Very recently, I've decided to have a regular lacky running at my heels as well. However, there's something depressing about its name being "Summoned Fresh Corpse". It just doesn't bode well for future prospects. So I'd like to know how I can change this unfortunate name to something more..."Bwah!!"

At the Chat Prompt, type: /renamesummon name

ex /renamesummon Gordon

(added 1-2-09) Use this chat command to give your summon a custom name... for example typing "/renamesummon Bob" will rename your current summon to Bob and next time that type of summon is summoned, it will automatically gain that name again. The new name only sticks that type of summon, so if a Blackguard were to summon a Black Devil and name it, then summon a penguin and name it something else, each would have its own specific name. If a summoned creature is created, it takes about 2 seconds before the name is changed (had to do this to bypass an annoying Bioware bug). Also sometimes the name may not appear to have been changed for you when it has for other players... usually transitioning to another area fixes this. Name changes should stick even after a server reset. Max characters for a name is 32. Does not work on dominated creatures (like animals dominated with animal empathy).

If you want to delete a name and return to the generic one, just use the command without specifiying a name.
