Twig heard a rumor the otherday that one wishes to dispell quickly.

We were defending in Wolfs Den and had epics in play. After the first big wave, Glow sent Twig a tell asking if we were deliberatly letting the Trackers get the kills, to incurr xp loss on those killed. I told him, ofcourse not. The trackers had been in the back of the cave and when a cppl raiders ran back there, they were quickly surrounded by four tackers and thier HUGE bovine summons. Making it very difficult for a mele toon to get at the PC raiders. I shared with the defenders Glows concern about XP loss. Not a single defender resisted my plea, to make an effort that this occurance was reduced. Occassional XP loss while raiding is a fact of NS4 life. But we were not working towards the end of increasing that loss.

The raiders, made a second attempt, and when Twig checked with Glow, no loss of XP occured.

I wouldnt have bothered posting this, but some of Twigs peace time friends in Aork ranks, had heard that TSS was intentionally working towards loss of XP. And it bloody well isnt true. Ive enjoyed PvP far more of late, cuase Ive taken the time and effort to get to know the players I fight against better. Not thier tactics or builds, but the essence of the person behind the NWN mask. Perhaps for some true hatred adds to thier game, I for one think such emotions are wasted and perhaps even disturbing. Let the blood fly upon the battlefield and when battle is over, let the Ale flow into out tankards as we joke and retell stores of past encounters, together as a community.

It's not like PwnD and RR would never use those tactics. well maybe once in awhile... like every chance they get...
