Noob needs help with build

there are some rare items that cast haste 1x per day, but they are cast at very low caster levels, and wear off very quickly. Blinding speed lasts much longer and cannot be dispelled.

Books are rare. They seem to drop more often in the 8-16 level range for me for whatever reason, and i rarely see them in high levels. Generally I have been able to supply about 3 books per build. I have also only ever found 1 +4 book. I know people that have played much longer than I have and have never gotten one.

Thanks for putting that into perspective. If I do find at least a book for dex, that's two feats I don't have to take. For wis, that's levelups I can spend in dex, which translates to the same thing basically.

Current abilities are 8/18/11/12/19/6. Was able to reach the 17 mark in Dex and Wis at char creation, before Wild Elf bonuses applied. That's the best I can do, and will be a bigger step toward "done" than 14dex/16wis. Will be going for construct first, then tweaking for blinding later. Depending on how many tomes I come across, I may or may not take dragon shape. Before reading this thread and speaking with Shadow I really didn't understand the scope of getting two stats that high, but it's obviously no cakewalk.

Afterthoughts - leveling this character (twice now to 5) has been fun, or at least passable under the circumstances. It's a relatively long wait for level 12 when your faction isn't getting relic xp bonus just to pick up shifter levels, so I'll probably take 7 shifter after 5 druid and then resume druid.
