tripled logged again

I log on and try to raid a relic cradle with like 10 ppl on the server and then low and behold we get a triple logger, what the hell, people I have talked to here are real tired of the triple loggers and the dual loggers. Raided just to see and I saw one toon acting while the other was looking at me, then I ran further and he had his other toon outside of the tunnel and his toon was there. Hello do we need to all be tripled logged to be fair or the DM's gonna let it fly. These are the same people that breaks rules and keep playing here, hell bring back the Okies and Sexy freaks and screw these loseres.

Find the toon he's not focused on and start attacking it. It's fun making neil jump from comp to comp . Don't walk into his hellballs (if at all possible), and when you get pked, learn and adapt. But if you were that good, you'd figure that out.

would just like to point out that my bro was running the 3rd guy and the only reason i can trip log is my roomates pc who plays some times to.so would you make it where they cant play ? i dont see a reason for that they did nothing nor did i. if the sever is full i understand droping a toon so more peps can log on got no prob with that.but just saying my bro and roomate cant play cause you don't like that i can triplog i don't get that.and would like to point out 1 more time my second pc i got used for 75 bucks so stop crying and get yourself some duel loging.

I think it would be fun to make it a day of kill the triple loggers and camp your sorry toon butts. The DD have seen you in game trying to fight with all three toons Niel, and we can tell its just you and no one else. But seriously, how long are you going to use the old, " roommates" for a cover story? Dude, its getting old, but in the end what ever makes you "feel" better than others. *shrugs*

Here is some food for thought....

We see all the posts saying that those that Dual and Triple log are easy to kill and that everyone should just have a field day and go and hunt them down. Yet with the claims of those players being inefficient in playing and using toons in this fashion and being so easy to kill the complaints keep rolling in???
I have not seen the server filled to capacity or even close since the last relic event (which of course had no multi boxers) so that can’t be the complaint??
So that being said let me see if I can get this straight…

Multi box players easy to kill = they should be banned from playing in this fashion???

Something does not add up. Unless of course those being accused of multi boxing are not in fact easy to PK and do play their toons efficiently resulting in anger over not having sufficient party support to defend or raid against such odds??

The standard response from that old lady is that you can play 12 also, and if you can't pay attention to that many, then she is just better at bingo than you. The sad truth is that it simply ruins the spirit of the game for those of us who are there for the enjoyment of it. Playing 12 bingo cards is just not fun for the rest of us. So 'stooping' to the level of dual/triple logging isn't the answer.

The rules for dual logging and triple logging were discussed and I still feel that in relic situations, each 'box' should be considered a toon, and raiding or defending with more than one should fall under venge log rules (ie ruins the spirit of the PvP game). Dual log all you want to level your toons to 40 in a week, but only bring one man and one toon to the relic party. It's ashame no DM will confirm this, because it seems totally logical to me.

Of course, no one would ever circumvent the rules if this were the case... the 'roomate' would just start playing a lot more

I say it was Neil cuz he's the only person I know of that actively triple logs right now, well triple logs effectively anyway.

Edit: IF I could dual log effectively (read half as well as any of the dual loggers, jebs, celorn, neil, Truefalse) in combat, I'd do it more often. It's just easier for me and satisfying enough to fight on a single comp, win or lose.

Theres a big difference between dual-tripple loggers and having 3-4 people in the same house that all play. I mean, in the college house, we had 4 pcs setup nex tto each other and played Starcraft LAN and Ultima Online all the time. Messssssssed up too. Good times.

I'd love to have a 4 people setup in my place so my flat mates could join in. Right now we just take turns using 2pcs, but there's always one of them over our shoulder which is a pain.

Anyway, it just makes me lol that everyone is concerned about something everyone has the capability to do. If you can't go get yourself a jobby-job and make a few extra bucks for a cheap pc that can do so. Nothing is stopping you but you.

I also find it funny that it's been happening here for... 4 years+? You guys had jebbo and Havok and quite a few others doing it all this time, and only now are whining about it because neil and carejo and Showtime routinely stomp you. All the cool people who can wind up joining AO/RK because they're like, "man, these noobs in the other factions can't even get with the times. It's like voice communication, and dual logging are strange and foreign concepts, obviously from another world". Or... something like that.

Don't worry though, since the DM's change the rules and dates and more in the relic event, they've banned dual loggers for no reason right before just to give you a shot to win and not feel like losers for years on end.

I'd pretty much encourage any new people to the server to join with AO/RK, because anyone who's new to playing NWN must have been playing something else, and aside from AO/RK people, I don't get this strong feeling that any other regulars from the other factions are strong at any games at all, period, where we just dominate and take satisfaction in making the lesser faction change their sleep schedules so they can grab a relic uncontested when we're snoozing away dreaming the the next morning when we get to PWn people and get them back.

Hmmm, that rant covered many tangents.

Players here should not have to spend extra money they may or may not have on a second pc and copy of NWN just to be competitive here.

Well, since half of you can hardly be competitive even on your one PC, in your case I'd just move on to another server or try a different game. I'do something single player, so real people cant outsmart you. Maybe.. I donno, solitaire?

OK snide remark aside, you dont need to have the ability to physically control a pc in the same room as you. You still have voice communication programs you can use to form cohesive units and plan out strategies against your enemies, meanwhile strengthing bonds between you and building an anti-AORK but you basically just refuse to do it out of disinterest of lack of knowhow.

So don't bash dual logging. Voice give you contact with other people where it doesnt matter if they're in your same room to help, and skill counts for something too. It's been domination for the same people by such a long time now I'm doubting if the losing side will ever have what it takes.
