Rangers and Favored Enemies

If I wanted a PVP ranger, would my favored enemies register if they fit player races?

Let's say I want to kill Drow. So I pick Elven as Favored Enemy.

Or Aasimar. Then I pick Outsiders.

Or Dwarves...

Or Humans... etc.

How would this work?

Yes, Favored Enemy works in PVP as well. Although you'll need to pick the base race that NS4 subraces modify. For example:

Pick Human for Aasimar, Genasi, Githyanki, Githzerai, Tiefling, etc
Pick Dwarf for Azerblood
Pick Half-Orc for Half-Ogre
