I thought this could be taken on a Fighter OR CoT level up. Now it appears I can only take it on a Fighter level up. Did I miss something? Or did something change with 1.69?

Prerequisite: Fighter, BAB +4, Weapon Focus (chosen weapon)
Required for: None
Specifics: A character with this feat has trained especially hard with a specific weapon type, gaining a +2 damage bonus when using these weapons in combat.
Use: Automatic
This feat may be selected multiple times, but the effects do not stack. It applies to a new weapon in each case, so long as that group is already associated with Weapon Focus.
Another prerequisite for this feat is 4 Fighter levels.
Feat can only be acquired in a level advancement as Fighter.
Note that this is not the case for one weapon: the club. If you already have Weapon Focus: Club and Epic Weapon Focus: Club; then, on a level were you would get a feat during epic levels, if you take a single level of Fighter (that's one level of fighter and not four), you can pick up Weapon Specialization: Club as your bonus feat and Epic Weapon Specialization: Club as your epic feat.

I believe it says somewhere that if you have taken Weapon Spec as a fighter, then you can as a CoT . . . that might be epic weapon spec though not sure, and dont care to look it up ATM

epic weapon spec can be taken as a cot bonus feat, but only if weapon spec has been taken as a fighter feat

This feat stacks with Weapon Specialization, for a total of +6 bonus to damage.

Ah, ok, you can take the EWS on a CoT, IF, you've taken regular WF as a fighter. I knew I read somewhere that it was Fighter OR CoT. All makes sense. Thans for all the posts everyone.
