For non-shifters, mucked around with Ice Storm while I was there.

Spell resist = None.
Huge area. 6d6 bludgeon, 2 + caster level/4 d6 cold. Non-party friendly.

(It had been 2d6 bludgeon, caster level/3 d6 cold, SR = yes, friendly fire = yes.)

Yeah, I'm sure you had those poor druids in mind. The fact that mages and bards (even clerics with the right domain?) do have that spell too, is only a sidenote. What really isn't so nice about this change, mobs with this spell are suddenly considerably stronger. Who has it? Xag-Ya, Elder Water Elemental, etc. And some with autoquicken. All these creatures already dish a lot of dmg out. Making them even stronger, wasn't so nice...

Maybe focusing on druid only spells would help them more...

Yeah i didnt read anywhere in that post that he was trying to do something for druids.....

and you forgot the ogres on the mountain that cast that... they are gunna be toon killen machines! woot!

He did, just read the whole post in the other thread. At least that's what I read between the lines. As it isn't explicit, only implicit.

Btw. "et cetera" covers all the other mobs besides the ones I mentioned.

Was thinking of arcanes and them getting at spell level 4. It's 5 for druid/bard/domain I think, they have better choices for the levels they can metamagic it to. Especially druid.

Arcanes don't need more love. For Odin's sake it's really the shafted druids that need more powerful stuff .
Earnestly mages already dish out considerable damage at every lvl.

Don't think so, that was once. Now they won't have real true seeing, at least if the dragons dont have it, rakshasa shouldnt either. That was all pre-Lokey... Shifters changed a lot lately.

I've looked at the Raskara shape and the Trueseeing isn't bioware Trueseeing its the same as everyone else can get. Weapons don't merge as they once did so no more huge weapon damage. I would need to double check but i was thinking it was 8th lvl spell and lower.

I had thought the post Was talking about pre-wipe. Still the unlimited Ice Storms should be nice
