Shifter Nerf affecting Dragon

Dragons require wisdom 30 for pure druids to achieve. Netya'nis did not achieve this until level 32 with investing much into wisdom. And her stats were not 8/8/8/18/16/8. I did not expect her to be easy to build or win every battle. The the quote gives assumption there is no sacrafice to make a dragon which is not the case.

By the way even at lvl 37, dragon her ac was at best 62 with ab of 49 per character sheet. And yes I am aware the character sheet is wrong about what the ab is, but in combat it was not 60.

Guess what I am trying to say is, if the reason for the nerf is so shifters are not overpowered at lvl 21 then why was dragons included in the nerf? Since unable to achieve dragonshape till lvl 30+ with sacrafice to other abilities just to achieve.

Yeah dragon form should not have gotton a nerf. A PM summon can just about tank a dragon and it takes more levels to get dragon then it does a pm summon. You also have to go almost strait wisdom to get this.


So anyway my 2 cents. Please revert dragons. For the balance of us all. However make their fear aura the same as the barbs. That way your killing 2 birds with one stone.

Shifters are not overpowered at 21. And they remain at that lvl up to lvl 40. And if shifter sux, its only fair dragons suck too.

It's on the shifter list, and you need 25 wis for outsider and 27 wis for construct.

Damage was increased (could use another bump imo), base stats were dropped, it should be a lot more based on items you're wearing now besides weapon. I probably dropped soak a bit too much--but then I wanted feedback

There was a huge problem with the previous version of the dragon that is fixed now. Based on your playstyle and who you party with Elda I don't think you're going to notice it, but maybe someone else will and maybe even thank me

i'm glad the king is taking an interest in fixing something thats needed adjustments for 4+ years. i thank him for the hardcore work he's putting into this effort that no one else has seemed to been able to beat.


fyi..he's not adjusting the shifter scripts....he's completely rewriting everything for them. thats dedication

Your right if there was an issue with the previous dragon shape...I was not aware of it. Still have no clue what it maybe, which is a good thing at this point. Dragon shape for Netya'nis is a survival form while other tactics work their magic (for lack of better terminology and not give them away, for those that might not know what it is I am trying to accomplish).

Thank you for your efforts, I can honestly say you are doing something in code that I could never do. For that I am grateful.

The nerf shock is quite overwhelming not to mention unexpected. Not to meantion the joyful glee of whomever it was that announced the nerf's arrival in game - did little to soften the blow.

Just so you folks know... there's no vendetta here. I (and I assume Lokey too) want to see Shifters continue to be a cool and powerful class. That said, its by FAR the most complicated class... way more time has been devoted to Shifters than all the other class abilities combined. There's so many dimensions to altering Shifters... stability (remember the daily shifter crashes?), fun, balance, and working around Bioware's faulty code.
