Atari wont care. NWN is not a game that brings in any real money for them anymore. Coupled with the fact they get nothing from the persistent world environment. Only when you bug the sh!t out of them will they do anything. Same is true in any industry.Zysek wrote:Hi there. I'm new here. How's it going?
We bought NWN back when the big news was Gold Edition. Then we bought the expansions as they each came out (and were added to the server we played on back then). Maybe Gold Edition was what you were thinking of?
An friend mentioned openning several copies of Diamond Edition at the local store "before they made me stop". Maybe if everyone explains to their local store that the game is not playable lacking the unique CD keys, Atari will finally take notice. I'll go think evil thoughts about hundreds of merchants returning Diamond Editions. Or would that be positive, nice thoughts? Heh.

That gives you a great excuse for stealing his game if you get caught !ELF_Shorty wrote:well ive been on vacation for a week hehe thanks for all the replies. You can pick up a cd/dvd combo drive for about 20$, it's well worth getting, just for the faster download time

I bought NWN the day it hit store shelves... found ns3 after getting familiar with the game and have been on and off ns for years now.
NS5 looks to be visually amazing, but I'm not sure how it's all going to work -- one nice thing I've noticed is that there will be a LOT of choices for crit-immune people, not just PMs anymore, the true BAB progression, and the inability to skill-dump is going to change things a lot.
I'm just hoping someone fixes the fighting animations, cuz right now it is very stiff and you basically move like a chimp that was taught ape-style kung-fu.

Wow, this phrase caught my eye. Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee meet Planet of the Apes.Celorn wrote:...ape-style kung-fu.
