OCZ Vertex Turbo OCZSSD2-1VTXT60G 2.5" 60GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

$219 , TRIM support , 2.5 form (will have to get 3.5 conversion? or maybe tower listed with 2.5 HD form?)

Did some more reading, and am not sure on the TRIM function.

Win7 went TRIM support in Oct. 09. Will TRIM be automatic/idiot-proof, or will user need to access some kind of program/command?

btw, SSD's need not to be defragged on a regular basis, or not at all?

Defragging is not only unneeded, but it puts a lot of bad wear on them. For that reason, Win7 doesn't defrag SSDs by default.

Looks like the SSD you mentioned does have TRIM support according to their website:

http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/s ... ii_2_5-ssd

Look under the Specifications tab. Also, TRIM is enabled by default if you have it... shouldn't have to do anything although some SSD manufacturers offer firmware updates for their drives. My guess is OCZ already has TRIM support given that they're advertising it.
