Monitor shopping in these troubled times

So monitor is dying (meh 4 years out of a gateway limp past the 1 yr warranty job isn't bad).

I can grab a dell or asus 1920x1080 24" 2ms or 5ms (the asus) for under $200. Anything else I should be concerned aboot (other than being that guy who plugs it in at the store before buying it).
