Ground Rules for North

As always, the first rule is to have fun, while remembering that there are real people behind the toons you see running around on your monitor. Respect other players as you would expect them to respect you. If they DON'T, well then, take a screenshot, and let one of your DMs know. That's why we're here.

North is a NO PvP server. Keep your hands/swords/clubs/spells off other players, please, unless you're in the Arena or in a DM sanctioned event.

EC run rules are in effect: we all know that they're based on common courtesy, so please use it. Players encountering another player/group on the run must acknowledge the other player/party, and ask permission to pass or take a stab at the NPCs on a given level if you want to xp farm. I'd like to avoid the headaches that the EC run constantly caused on Pacific.

Camping of major bosses for gear either by sitting and waiting for the next spawn, or log camping (scoring a kill, taking the loot, then leaving your toon on the same map and returning x minutes later for the next kill) is not permitted. DMs that witness this sort of behavior are cleared to strip the toons of any loot gathered from this activity, and the player's toon can and will be moved far, far away from the camped map. "Major Bosses" include the likes of Exalted Lord, Death Lord, G1, Gilon Starfall Leader, Xi Fu, and other boss type NPCs that drop "teh ubah loot" in the game.

Keep shout spam to a minimum: please keep it limited to game related inquiries or requests, and please, no racist, sexist, or inflammatory shouts. We also discourage you using the shout channel to discuss the football game results.

Harassment of your fellow players will not be taken lightly - repeat PK's, shout abuse, abuse over tells or PM's should be screenshotted and sent to a DM, we can deal with it in a more effective way than shouts & threats.

If you are going to be away from your computer (afk) for longer than 5 or 10 minutes, please log off and relog upon your return. Any longer than that, and....well, you've been warned.

Lastly, I'll repeat the first rule...have fun in this world that has been created for you. Remember that your admin staff are players like you. We want to enjoy this game just as much as you do, and will do whatever we can if you have a problem.

FYI - Server reset times are at 0700, 1500, and 2300 Pacific Standard Time.
