Old Quest, New Fun

I am going back and revisiting some of the older quests that I really havn't taken the time to do. I came to the realization the other day that I amp myself up so much for character building I never really sit back and enjoy the mod.

So, one day while messing around I came across the 'Dark Heart' quest. Man, that is a ton of fun, and it is a great reward. I love little trinkets I can quickslot and use. So I have done the quest a couple of times. Learning that area can be brutal, but after awhile, there is a logical pattern.

For those of you who havn't done this one yet, I believe the quest starts by talking to a 'Ranger' in Enchanted Forest Southwest. Nice little reward to, expeciallly for those of you looking to keep your StarFall protector alive a little longer.

This isn't an "old" quest, I revised the Enchanted Forest (and created this quest) and Melencia months ago during the "great upheaval."

But I'm glad you like it nonetheless.

Ok,,,i'm going to have to revise a previous statement. Fun to do? yes! Fun to do alot? NO! I found out yesterday during a DWP run that the heart destroys itself if you use the last heal (it has three) before resting. Sux0ramma! So I guess I have to go back and run around the five maps to get the heart again. I hate finding out the nerfs of an item AFTER i am already enjoying it. Why can't it be like the imbued darkstone, it just goes inactive after you use it, until you rest again. (YES YES, I know you can use the recharger on it. But I like things easy, i dont want to have to MANAGE my gear. I do that at work, don't wanna do it at play).

So, it looks like this heart which has 3 heals, actually only has 2 you can use before you rest to make it 'whole' again. Still worth it? Well, you will just have to try it out for yourself.

with the alien energiser im sure you can recharge it lol

with the alien energiser im sure you can recharge it lol
