game crashes when i try to load my char :(

everytime i try to load my cleric the game crashes his name is chase runaway what can i do about this

go into options, set everything to low res, turn off sparkly water, then try logging

I have had a similiar problem to this. Is it crashing in the load screen? My problem was harware/driver related but the only temp fix I could find was to have a friend logg in my character, move him to new zone and rest. I would then be able to logg in again. Hope this helps.

Logging in from a different computer might also help.

What I found is that making a 2nd char was useful.

When I can't load and NWN crashes, I load my temp char up, then quit, then try my regular char again and all is fine...
