If i install only basic NWN with no Expansions, will i be able to connect to the server ?

and question 2 ,

Are CD keys in somehow linked to my account , or do i have to enter CD keys when i install the 2 expansions?

You need both expansions.

CD keys are entered when the expansions are installed.

It used to be that original game with updates only lets you go to level 20, but I don't know now if the expansions are a requirement with all of the new content that has been added. Expansions 1+2 gave you levels 30 and 40. The new free expansion added a lot of content to the game.

Your CD keys only have to do with your install and the online gaming network, you need a valid Key or the network won't let you connect. You can also secure your keys with Obsidian when you register with their forums, were you can enter your official keys with them as a precaution. I'm not sure how that helps though.

You account (and you can have more than one account) has to do with the server vault and your characters. One account, one set of characters.

The IP address has been changing about every 3 days for the last 10 days or so. Check the lists rather than using favorites or history. It was up when I checked last night.
