Old timers like DV don't know that I've revamped the mod so heavily that they won't recognize it. Melencia's not an issue anymore from a map perspective, and I've closed off the back door from the OTR...

And who needs a paper map when we old timers have 4 years of NS mental mapping stuck in our heads? :)

I tried once, got most of the area maps screen-shot, and was pasting a visual index together.. then they changed everything *crumples map*

Oh well, guess I ll just ask around when I get lost :)

Somewhat readable map

I've got to a point where maintaining map in inkscape was impossible. So I created "graphviz" version of it (i.e. software for parsing graphs) results are mixed - all the jumps I've been through are there but they interweave quite a bit - if there's interest I can post my current state with "sources" of course

ive been here a long time...*grandpa fumbles for cane*

i LOVE the changes...helps me get lost and feel like a bornagain noob.

i would prefer to NEVER know all of NS....never ever found another game that kept new for 4 years +...

on top of that its free, i get better response from the dev/dm team than i get from any of my pay services (i.e. cable, phone, isp) and they keep it current and show up all the time in person.

i think its the finest thing i've ever found on the net/gaming ...not to sound like a suck up...but we got heaven for free guys.

let's spend more time saying thanks

:D :D :D

hiro

ps not to imply any of the map discussion was complainin...just thought this was a good place to say i liked the changing landscape...*grin*

I've got partial map so far so it's a work in progress.

(it's sideways for easier printing)

code to generate it is here (graphviz - not MS Word!):

corrections and suggestions are welcome.

I downloaded it on my lame comcast-always-fails connection and it only took a few seconds. Nice work, btw.

 doesn't it figure, I just started my own about a week before that topic. (in org chart form no less.) One of my kids plays here too and was getting lost all the time. I didn't get anywhere near that complete map though. Now if I can just get it to print on my lil printer legibly. Although the poster is tempting. ;)

:D THANK YOU for saving me from trying to map out the rest. Program I was using is a demo and has some PitB limitations but was workable.
