Screk aka Thraglin aka Kamil

Hail NS,

In the past weeks we have been bothered by a player looking to cause problems. His log in name is 'screk' His main toon he likes to play is named 'Thraglin' and also has a toon with the name 'Kamil' I know that many of you have been either attacked by him, had your gear stolen, or had your kills stolen. I have heard many complaints about him from many different players. I ask you to post your complaints here and let others in the game be aware of this guy. Also, please make screen shots of this guy whenever he commits any offense against you and send them in to the DM's. Apparently, the DM's hands are tied until they have documented proof of what this guy is doing.

I know many of you are interested in seeing justice done and maintaining the peace in the NS community. Thank you.

P.S. for those of you who don't know...

To take a screen shot, just hit your print screen button on your keyboard. I will be saved on your memory and then you can paste it in MS paint and saved as a file. You can only save one screen shot at a time so you would have to paste and save your file between shots. Try and get one with the combat window showing the act in progress.

Hey Sord,
Does this guy only play on East or is he on other servers as well. Oh and FYI, unless you have your comp set up different than me I can get as many screenies as I want without doing anything between them. They go to my NWN folder and I can access them there. I can take multiple shots without saving or doing anything to them.

As far as I know, he's only on East. But the way this guy acts, he seems suspiciously like another guy I ran into on North, can't remember what his name was so I can't substatiate that. As far as multiple screen shots go, I just posted the one way I know how, there may be another command or method like yours that I'm not aware of, but would be useful to know

Well you still just hit print screen key but my comp saves them all in my main NWN folder. From there I can access them to put them into a program like Photoshop or any other picture program and play around with em. Just check your NWN folder after you take a SS and see if yours appear there. Hope it is helpful info for everyone out there. Good luck with your "Dennis the Menace" on east bro.

I too have been subject to 'Thraglin's' shinanigans and feel he's really becoming a bit of a thorn in the paw of east, as such I encourage people to post on this thread if you have had problems with the guy at any time in the past, just so DM's can get a feel for the size of the problem.

As stated in the above posts the best way to deal with him is to send the DM's a screen shot of any incidents. But in the mean time, my advice is to avoid the bloke, ignore his invites, dont rez him and last of all check if he's on the player list before you transfer any gear.

if all else fails break out the dragons and stomp him into a bloodey puddle (in the arena of course)

I to have seen this guy stealing peoples gear and he even tried to attack a mob my sorc was fighting, BIG mistake as my spells killed him. I rezzed him and asked him what he was doing but he refused to reply to me and ran away.

Thraglin Teglen hit me today. I was transferring gear from one toon to another using one of the chests in the Half-Eaten Goat, and was just about to log off when he came in and took all my gear. I didn't know how to take a screen shot, or I would have had him red handed, but he took;

i have also been attacked by this guy . and have seen the shouts of people he is stealing from . it is now such that as i write this people that were going or in the process of xfering gear . are logging of the server or waiting to see him leave before they attempt to xfer gear at the inn or guild hall . .

This is completely unfair .and a huge hassle for any of us . i personaly will kill him on site if he comes near a chest i have gear in or am watching for another player . I am sorry it is coming to this . but there it is . we do need something to be done . i have sent to DM sun . screens of the conversations and combat info showing him attacking and stealing . I have another to send of him having logged and other players in party . relogging toons because they now are scared to xfe gear for fear it will be stolen

This kinda crap is totally unacceptable! To Tyrus I say use the GoN guild hall to make your xfers. If you don't have a key let me know and we will get you one. To everyone else I advise you to get someone you trust to watch your items while you switch toons and make sure the toon you want to have the gear is already in the area you are using for xfering.
A question for the DMs: Will it be considered a rules violation to PK this fool outside of the arena? I doubt someone with no honor will accept a challenge to enter the arena so I would like to know if we can smack him down wherever we find him? This kind of activity has no place in NS and I urge everyone to PM the DMs on whatever server he does this and to also PM Braticus if you have been a victim of his intolerable behavior! As dbosity said, make sure to document the incident with a screen-shot.

DM Sun has explicitly warned us not to PK this guy outside the arena. I have already discussed this guy with DM Sun and was told nothing can be done until he has more screen shots of this guy committing crimes. I personally know of two separate screenshots of this guy attacking two separate people on two separate incidents that was sent in to DM Sun. I am currently waiting on a response. I made this post because I wanted it be known how widespread this annoyance is and that it is not just within my guild. In fact, I believe Dave Blythscum has mentioned this guy quite some time ago on a separate post, and the incidents keep occuring. This Thraglin guy isn't really a danger to anyone, but is a MAJOR annoyance. Clearly this guy only enjoys playing on our servers to be a thorn in our side. Whenever I see him on, I shout out a warning to the server. I'm trying to be patient with the DMs and let them do their thing, but my patience is being sorely tested. It doesn't make any sense to continue letting this guy get away with this crap and not retaliate. I refuse to be a sheep among wolves.

I too got pked by this guy but doesn't seem to matter what the guys does he never gets in trouble for it. Makes me think I should be able to go around and be a jerk and not get in trouble for it either. I haven't been on ns for more than a few reasons but he is one of the major ones and it's getting on my nerves that nothing has been done when so many people have complained about him. He's done nothing nice to anyone, only been a pain in the rear, yet is still aloud to go around doing this over and over. I say we just kill him wherever he is, but then we would get in trouble for it. That's just how it goes I guess...

I am in agreement with dbosity on the last part of his most recent post. I will not be prey for a some moron's amusement. Being patient and waiting for the situation to be handled thru proper channels is all well and good, but patience wears thin after a while. Now he has crossed a line and thrown down the gauntlet at the feet of the Guardians of Neversummer. His act of thievery against Tyrus cannot and will not be tolerated!! He has also attacked members of our HA brothers and that cannot be allowed either.
This fool's actions go against everything that GoN stands for and if the DMs cannot do anything about it then it falls to us to act in defense of ourselves and our fellow players. I hope DM Sun can jail this miscreant the very next time he logs into the game and give him fair warning that he risks being banned for his ridiculous behavior. He seems to think he has free reign in East and needs to know there are consequences for this type of idiocy.
The GoN code of conduct prohibits all Guards from going against the instructions of a DM, but it also clearly states that we MUST defend those who cannot defend themselves and that we MUST defend the honor of the guild. Therefore we cannot seek out this fool for the sole purpose of killing him, but we can and must come to the defense of any player being pk'd or stolen from if we witness the offense. This will be my approach to the problem unless I hear specifically from a DM that this course of action is not to be taken.
