Mithril Shield for Halfling and Gnome

Have recently completed Hignar's Quest with a Gnome, hoping for a large or small version of this shield, but it gives a tower shield regardless of race. Would it be possible to add a large or small version of this shield to the quest?

I agree with that... cause usally if you get a shield like that and you are'nt normal sized for it it woun't let you wear it
