Leader Stick Suggestion

I think the leader stick is potentially an awesome device and an excellent addition to Neversummer.

However one thing that's really, really bugging me about it - It hardly ever works.

I may not be entirely correct here but as far as I can tell.
1) There is no way to tell if it is charged or not without trying to port.
2) If you try and port and it's not charged, the charge timer resets and you have to wait til it charges all over again - possibly to screw up the timing and wait all over again and again etc...

May I please suggest that some way of telling the charge status is added asap? If I had a dollar for everytime I heard someone say thier Leader Stick 'should' have worked I could afford a set of Character Wings

I'll see if I can add a time remaining until usable again message. Just got to figure out how to determine that.

Nah, it gives you a different message if you're trying to port to a restricted area, last I checked.

Is there any way to make it so that it doesn't show as useable unless it's charged? That would be a quick way of seeing if it's ready or not. A "time until usable" message would be handy too.

Actually after just checking the script, it should tell you when its ready to be used again via a message without doing anything. So once you try to use it, wait for it to tell you it can be used again....however I'll check into another way like jwiwchar suggests.
