Possible to change alignment back to lawful in game?

Post by redrazors_ns3 »

Hi,

My alignment got changed to true neutral somehow, used to be lawful evil which I need as a monk assassin. I've got the evil bit back, but don't know how to become lawful again, so I can't progress monk. Seems that draco and the cave of alignment just switch between good and evil unless I have missed something.

Anybody got any ideas?

Cheers.

I think that the cave will shift you towards lawful good or chaotic evil... so, at this point, I think your only option is to shift to lawful good to re-gain your ability to progress as a monk.

Any alignment is obtainable after character creation. You just have to know what to do and have lots of time to do it.

A few critters in NS will shift your alignment if you kill them, OR if anyone in your party kills them. So if you're going after Draco, for example, and you're in a party with other players that aren't there with you, make sure they won't mind the alignment shift. If they do, just drop from your party.

As for your problem redrazors, you only need lawful (something) for monk levels, which the cave will provide. FYI, the cave only works for you once per server reset. If I'm wrong on this, someone please correct me.

I'm pretty sure the alignments of LN, LE, and NE are impossible to gain again after losing (unless you want to switch between LN and NE). Unless they put a way to get evil points independent of chaos back into the mod. The Cave only gives either Lawful and Good or Chaotic and Evil.

It is possible, I have done it. Although sometimes it helps to go out and kill a few odd things to help the shift a bit.

Try killing the guard elves outside of Avendale, that shifts you evil I believe. If not enough, run on down towards Perrin Hills. The halflings that are being attacked by other halflings will now be hostile and I thnk they may shift you to evil as well if you smack them.

I'm not positive this will shift you evil, but I think it does. It WILL turn Ank'Lhure hostile on you. That much I know...now if we could just remove that immune to damage from him again...
