Deepdark

Post by nolanski »

I've been through the deepdark and located the Illithid and Beholder bosses. I can't find a Drider boss, even in the lair. Any clues?

from underdark entrance via redhorn pass, north, east, then in the northwest corner you will find her

edit: by north and east, i mean the transition north on the first underdark map, then the transition east.

I have been testing veterans' memories lately. :D

Credit to Crunch for guidance on the last 3 hermits I couldn't find.

No Drider boss: acknowledged. However, there was no prize either. I turned in the Hive Mama Eye and the Brain Sample and nothing. Unless of course the true prize is the satisfaction of a job well done. That was the altar's response. It was pleased with the offerings and pleasing it pleases me.

I don't recall seeing any messages in the window other than the loss of the items and the altar's happiness. Info at the time also had me expecting a 3rd boss item so with that expectation perhaps I wasn't focused enough on the window. With that in mind I'll run it again and report back.

Just finished running it again. I kept my inventory screen open throughout to see changes when they happen. No change in gold amount and no notes in the message window other than the altar's general giddiness.
