Question about my avatar for the forums

I have a question about my avatar i have tryed to load a couple from my comp. to the forums and they never work they are the right size in everyway .After i try it always say's Failed, and a bunch of stuff over and over . I would tell you more but it disappears pretty fast. If this has been asked already , i didn't see it and am sorry . Thank you for any help you can give .

I personally use a flikr account with my images stored in it. that way you arnt restrictd by filesized because the forums don't have to actually store the image in the mysql database. By addressing to a link location in flickr the forum simply goes out and retrieves the image from flickr's database and display's it.

Try both fields at the bottom of the 'profile' page, I can't remember which one works.

yeah, what you can do is create a photobucket acct. save your pictures there and then use the URL to get your avatar in forums.

Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to.

Enter the complete URL (internet address that points to your image)
then save the profile changes.. and voila! You can have a humongous Avatar like Ethos

Thx, for all ur help i'll try that , i have a photobucket.com acct. but wasn't sure how to put it in . I guess i just type in the url. thx for the help
