What counts as "trapping" as an exploit? I mean, if I am doing Sky Minions and I am killing one while another somehow gets pinned behind a tree and can't attack me yet, is that "trapping"? If I am in Giants and I back up to a wall so I can't get surrounded, is it trapping if the giants are too big to fit in the same area and only one or two at a time can attack? Are you saying, that by not allowing trapping, all combat has to take place in the middle of a room so that mobs can effectively surround us? If there's a jagged edge on a map and i run out on the edge or behind an edge tree and only one mob can get to me way out there, is that an exploit?

duodave you should be proud of that fact that only 1 enemy is attacking you whenever you rush to the corners of the maps and as far as traping is concerned you whenever you lead the enemey to the corner and you trap it in the corner to where it wont move then that is trapping. But I wouldnt even be concerend about it mate.

It is fairly easy for a DM to spot when a player is purposely pinning and when a mob just gets hung on it's own from a player running for his life. I would not worry about this if you are just playing your game.
It's those folks that feel the need to take advantage that will be spotted and dealt with. Hopefully by having their toons spend a few nights in NS Jail
