Bard Song
OK, so Bard song has been beefed up on NS (from what I hear). Is there any place I could see what the new Bard Bonus Tables looks like? Proper Character Planning requires knowledge of what you are planning.
Originally the AB+ for Bard song capped at +2? Is this still the case? If not, at what levels / skills does it change? How bout the HP and AC bonuses?
Curse Song?
Of course I could level up a bard to lvl 40 and make precise notes along the way, but that would be a extremely difficult and time consuming way of gaining knowledge that surely some else has compiled. Plus I would have a junk lvl 40 character (and seeing as I have 0 lvl 40's now I sincerely do NOT wish to level a straight class bard up to 40 just to track song changes)

Thanks. my main concern was the AB progression. Could you spare the details on what lvl for +3 and +4 and +5 AB bonuses begin? To me, the rest of the benefits are just fluff.
The reason I ask is I am trying to create a melee toon with the max unbuffed AB possible (68). So far I have only found a way to get to 65, but I keep trying combinations (on paper). Since Bard Song is long lasting and non-dispellable it will do in my considerations for AB.
Anyone got a formula for an unbuffed (and non song'd) melee AB of 68 or better? (this does include all equipment though)

So what was that post from Dr_Fangorn saying AB+ was capped at 68 all about?

Did I misunderstand something?

Whenever I've taken a look at what the game actually uses for an AB+ modifier, it has always capped out softwarewise at 68 for me, despite whatever my AB+ says it is on the character sheet.
I just popped onto Pacific and tried a few things out. There are lots of discrepancies between what your character sheet tells you and what the computer actually uses...for instance, my fully buffed combat cleric has a +77AB/4 attacks on his character sheet, but hits with only a 67. My arcane archer, however, has a +71/4 attacks on his character sheet, but hits with a 72.
So basically, I'm saying, I was wrong, 68 is not the maximum, 72 is, but my other point is, don't trust what the character sheet tells you.
