Are summon spells beefed up in NS 3.5 like the forums indicate they are in NS4?
Specifically, the implication there was, if you took Spell Focus Conjuration + Imp Focus Conj., your summons would get stronger. Same thing with Necro summon as well.
I have always enjoyed playing a Summoner (cleric w/animal domain), but the summons are only useful, other than for slowing mobs as you run away, up to about level 12-13 if that.
When I read about the conjuration focus effect in the NS4 board, it raised my hopes that a summoner might be useful on NS3.5 as well. I will test this out tonight, but would like to avoid wasting my time if it is a no-go anyway.
