Neversummer 5 Public Alpha Change Log

An examine button has been added to the store interface. Some things have not been added yet such as which feats are required to equip the item, but one thing which is already implemented (we're sure players will appreciate this) is the addition of points listed in the item's examine window*. So you can get an idea of whether or not you can equip it before you buy it.

* Please note that for now item points will only show up in an item's examine window when you examine it in a store.

  • Fixed a couple of cosmetic issues in some random and nexus areas.
  • Changed rest duration to match NS4 (stock NWN2 rest duration was 5 seconds).
  • Removed "Common Ghost"s from the spawn system database until we determine what's causing client crashes.
  • Nailed Greymalkin's feet to the floor so he doesn't wander around anymore (along with some other merchants).
  • Changed points assigned to all shields and some random treasure.

  • Fixed some store issues (drag & drop selling is working now)
  • Fixed various issues with over 75 creatures (HP, ranged weapons, loot)

  • Store dialog now mark in red, items that can't be used

  • Prices of stacked items are not overcharged.
  • ID'ing items with the store no longer overcharges people.
  • Selling non ID'ed items gets you less cash
  • Drop frequency tweaks.

  • Disabled Tracking Feature until we can rework how/when it is used by characters that have taken the Swift Tracker Feat
  • Added 122 artifacts (contributed by frogofpeace, thanks!)

When the next server/hak update is made, the points value of items will be displayed on the inventory screen. They will update when items are equipped or unequipped. This should help make the points of items more visible and easier to work with. This is just the first stage of this work, so more to come.

Also there have been several updates to the descriptions of items in the stores. Hopefully the descriptions have improved quite a bit.

  • Fixed party transition bug introduced when we disabled the Tracking Feature.
  • Fixed Holdfast Ruins walkmesh problem.
