wheres ns5?

Well.. this sub forum (ns5) is about 2 years old.. the whole project is made by developers who do it in their spare time, and for free..

Given how long we've waited, and what little progress has been reported, im assuming that development has stalled. And we may never see ns5 open.

Would be nice if im wrong, but i prefer to think of the glass as half-empty

Nah, the glass is always partially full If I remember right people waited a long time for come out, and nwn2 i'm guessing has a more intricate coding system than nwn. So with that, and the fact that most people have less free time atm, the development is just going a little slower. But we will see it opened *soon*.

there were actually some very big unforseen hurdles to conquer. most of them are getting done little by little...but the mod as a whole is coming along slowly.

spare and free time are all these guys have to build, but it looks good so far.

How do i access it? i have nwn2 loaded on my system but still can't find the server to check out the alpha!

when you log in it will make you download all the files on enty to get you updated for the server.

Too bad I keep crashing the db, when I login. Can't really test anything.

After Ajantis gave me the tip to redl the whole thingie, it worked. Now I get the entry gold and I see NPCs and encounters. Woot!
So, if anybody else has the same problems, just try dl it again.
