Drooling, and waiting for the hard work put into it and see what happens. I admit playing nwn2 has some changes that i like (like the 12 second count on KD thought it was cool.)

I'm already making excuses for all the work and social events I will no doubt miss once the server opens, due to unhealthy amounts of time spent playing NS5. If you can hold off until after Christmas so i can finish decorating the house that would be great

They havnt even gone "alpha" yet.

After that, it'll be "beta"

THEN we'll see it open to the public / community.

So really.. dont hold your breath. I cant wait for it to open either, since i had fun with ns 3.0 (or was it 3.5..) when i found this community.. then had even more fun with ns4.

But ya have to realize that NONE of the work being done is "professional". Aka they arnt being paid a cent to do it (as far as i know) its all volunteer work, done around the dev's REAL lives.

It'll open when they finish it. In the meantime, just get into the habbit of what i do (check in once or twice a week) and just live your life in the meantime. Trust me, once its open you'll be playing it quite a bit. Im fairly certain lives will be ruined and social circles broken

Not to mention the physical trauma of repetitive wrist strain injury, due to excessive mouse clicking

[to the devs of ns5]

when beta comes out, could you guys perhaps try getting "beta" onto the gamespy page and set up a thread for comments/suggestions from a player's perspective? (im sure most of us would like a look at the server while you guys are still making it)

(just a cool suggestion)

Sorry to anyone who viewed this new post all excited about new info on ns5. I just wanted to ask how things were going with the server. Does it look promising for a possible alpha version for those of us who are just regular players to test *soon*.

"soon" is relative.... to the spatial time equinox... figure that out

Oops, I just realized I asked a question and ended it with a period.
