Re: Grease
Alright. Not all level 40's have unbeatable saves - but - and heres the kicker, they can almost effortlessly make their characters that way. You can easily gather enough +saves items, especially including bard song, ava and such to make yourself immune to all but the highest DC casters spells, in ev...

Re: Grease
I think it should scale with normal DC checks like every other spell.
NPCs and players in this game all have monstrous saves at 40, making most wizard save check spells worthless by that level anyway.

Re: Grease
I noticed that spellcraft saves aren't being taken into account when affected by grease.
Is this because its a non magical spell?

Re: Grease
How is the DC of this spell calculated?
My wizard of 33 intelligence has a dc of 25 both with a +5 int buff and without.

Re: Sneaky nerf warning
What about the 9th level Bigby?
When you take Epic skill focus Concentration, it doesn't add anything to the DC check that compares the casters concentration to the opponents discipline + arcane defense + epic skill and regular skill focuses.
Is this a bug?

Re: Shifters Overpowered? Just Right? Glaring Weaknesses?
Good news is that if you have a shifter/good toon, you can probably solo 80% of levelling areas. - Mining Monk IMO, a build is overpowered when it defeats far greater numbers. - Mining Monk So I guess you believe that any shifter is equivalent of a "good" toon (and the good portion is by your defin...

Re: Healing Kit Issue/question
I object to the fact that its changed so drastically. I consider all of the points I put into heal a waste considering good potions heal for 300, and require no skills at all to use. Even rings of Shiv'las heal for 140, far more then any kit ever could. Healing kits are a sore waste of skill points,...

Healing Kit Issue/question
When using healing kits in the past, they would not unstealth you when used. Even though they heal for a lot less then potions and require significant skill and item investment. They also weigh a ton over any potion, making it even more difficult to carry around for rogue based classes with low stre...

Svirfneblin Subrace Bug
Svirfneblin's +2 hide bonus doesn't stack with the Arcanist Job bonuses.
Is there some way this could be fixed?
Thanks

Re: What are you looking forward to most in 1.69?
I really don't want to see any more +7 & 8 weapons, but some more +6's would be good.
I'm mostly looking forward to horses & tilesets. The new possibilities will make Neversummer fresh and new-seeming again!

Re: The wandering epic defenders...
I think this is an excellent idea. I think it could be implemented by placing the epic defenders as patrolling in a random planar area from your factions nexus. They would only spawn when you control your own relic, and would raise allies and kill hostiles (otherwise neutral to the planar natives). ...

It doesn't make sense for Highlands to be a neutral binding point. It's an NC port town, guarded by NC gaurds. The only reason anyone would want to bind there is to attack Daeron repeatedly. The Highlands bind point is 2 zones away from Daeron. It is yellow and there is no raiding bindpoint anywher...
