How exactly do Bards acquire spells as they lvl. Ive been playing a bard but as i have been lvlin the last few times I havent been able to choose any spells.

I apologize for this question as I know I really should know the answer. I have honestly tried to figure it out myself but I can't When I add spells such as "Protection from Alignment" and "Aura vs Alignment" to my task bar, they always get added for against evil enemies For the life of me I can't ...
