The difference is the AO guards arent casting anything detrimental to the PC defenders.

So, if you remove the "dumb" spells from the creatures spell list, it would stop casting those spells. Like dismissal. Our MA guards cast dismissal, when theres nothing around to dismiss. I don't know how much more productive it can be, theres only a few clear solutions. Increase the crystal drop rate (but not back to what it was). Change the spell entirely to something useful that doesn't consume crystals. Keep the spell function as is but put a timer on it for casts/day or diminish...
