If you are using MySQL as the database for both servers, I don't believe it should prove too difficult to merge them.

Well, in most cases it will add +2 to Will Saving throws, +1 to AC or AB in some cases, might add bonus spells in other cases, etc. So I would say that it is worth that. Small increases can in abilities, skills and other stats can often mean a lot.
