Also try extending your info bar and scrolling up and make sure that your not just overlooking the xp for the kill. Are you checking your character sheet to see how much your getting from mulitple kills?

I haven't seen any problem with area effect spells and xp for kills.

I logged back on earlier today and found that my druid could no longer summon his animal companion and all my summons were nerfed. Ok a druid is not primarly a spell cast, espically at lower levels. They only get there damaging spells at higer levels, late into their teens. How the heck did you even...
