I had the same happen to me. A character I did not create showed up with my others.

After a fight in which a bear died I had control over using empathy, all the rest of the animals turned hostile to me. I tried relogging and waited for a sever reset to see if that would fix it with no such luck. Is this permanent with no chance being fixed?
