Having had multiple characters get roasted many, many times by Chirrem and friends, I agree that they shouldn't act with the safety of n00bs in mind. Chirrem has more important things on his mind than whether or not a first-level sorc gets roasted. I will say that he should probably use less magic, ...

Spura, maybe you should try listening to Lokey, seeing as he is a developer. I don't know about Shifters specifically, but certainly other spells granted as class abilities follow separate scripts from the spells they ape. For instance, a Blackguard's usage of Bull's Strength stacks with a cleric's/...

can someone explain the multiple damage type 'bug' to me?
Hi all. In PnP D&D, weapons with multiple damage types are generally treated as using the most advantageous type for a given target. However, I see lots of posts on this board talking about how multiple-type weapons (such as halberd and morningstar) are bugged, acting in the LEAST advantageous way. ...

Spura, I think you're using circular logic. Yes, the Rakshasa is currently a bad caster... which is why I think it's a good idea to improve the DCs and damage of his spells. Yup, tie those bad boys to Shifter level instead of Druid level. Add a DC boost for high Wisdom. Change Dispel to Greater Disp...

Spura, the reason I don't like the idea of giving TC the monk class is that it's a solution that will make every Shifter the same, because not having a monk level will be suicide. Furthermore, it really only helps the melee shapes, while the caster shapes are still going to have low DCs and low dama...

Not only does Darkness only last 6 rounds, but you can cast it only a couple of times per shift into Drider/Drow Warrior form. After you fool around with the level 7 shapes, get used to seeing the Kobold Commando. He's got higher AC and higher AB than the Drow Warrior or the Lizardman Whipmaster. He...

About summons, I was actually going to suggest that they be made weaker, not stronger... perhaps at epic levels they are too weak; I haven't quite made it to level 21 yet. But what I can say is that, having played a pure caster and now a druid/shifter (shifters are weak pre-epic, so I'm currently pr...
