Traps
Has anyone found good use for traps? My craft trap skill is limited (10) so I can only talk about average traps but they are mostly useless at best. Might as well throw the ingredients directly at the opponent instead of going thru the hassle and craft the trap, carefully set the trap, lure somethin...

Arrows
I think that playing an archer is a fun way to play the game, you have to run a lot since you're not a tank, and have various battle options. It just makes fighting more fun and more challenging. However, I'm a bit diappointed about the disadvantages of archers vs melee builds without many benefits:...

Yeah´, part of the problem of being on a PvP server is that you have to be worried that your build is not just good PvM but also PvP. This rules out "support" characters in a way who may have been designed to aid the group but are more prone to be defenseless vs pkers. Nonetheless, not all areas are...

My issue here is that you can stock up at your home base but then you wanna go explore and if you venture far into the enemy land where there is no base you can find yourself fighting for a very long time and bang, running short on arrows, sorry lads, gotta take the long way home. Now I can live wit...

Fletching in the field
I think that it might be worth a consideration to allow fletching not only at the dedicated places but also when out in the open. It is really annoying when you're exploring the huge world in NS and always have to find a way to get back to a friendly civ to restock on your arrow supplies. It really ...

Ok, thanks for the many answers to my original post. Quite a few suggest that if planned well, a dex char is kicking some [censored]. I'd like to know what you mean by a well-planned char. My current rogue has developped into rogue(8)/wizard(1)/AA(2) and I'm planning on leveling as AA for quite some...

The painful days of a dex char
I've been working on a dex char in the past hearing that they are so painful to level. Well, I can only confirm that. I've also tried spellcasters and str fighters and they have just a so much easier time. The worst is the rogue, IMHO. While potentially a good class, it is just outperformed by far. ...

hpd... me... more than 2 months.... still at level 8 lol Some classes are harder to level than others. I'm currently leveling a ranged rogue, this is quite hard as opposed to other classes. You have no pet and can't go toe-to-toe like a fighter does. Also, 2 months doesn't mean much. You could have...

Can I lose a level by dying?
I've just recently leveled up and picked a feat I'd rather not have now. Can I get myself killed a few times to drop a level and pick another feat instead? Anybody did that already?
