my new computer works fine, 2.66 GHz, 128 meg radeon 9200, with 1.5 gig of ram. It was put together by Adamant, Asus motherboard, 420 watt power supply.

Everquest sucks up most of my time. Maybe I'll be have time to come back to NS4.

And if NS4 becomes interesting again, I'll update my web site, which does get page hits.

last year I was playing NS with a win98se 550MHz computer, with a n ati radeon 7200 runing 32 megs of video ram, and under 500 megs of regular ram.

edit: my new computer is 2.66 GHz, with 1.5 gigs of ram, an ati radeon 9200 with 128 megs of video ram.

Only problem with that is my knowledge of form factors, and what works with them is about 15 years out of date.

That and lack of time to keep up with the changes.

I've been kinda busy... I finally bought a new computer ( p4 at 3 ghz), winxp sp2, 1.5 gigs of ram, a 256 meg video card, 200 gig hard drive. well darn. I couldn't get a fx5500 card to work on my new system, so I got an ati radeon 9200. That works in EQ...

So it doesn't work here ? Argh.

I have a bathroom rebuild in the works for this weekend... well, repainting the walls. Nothing untoward, it just needs doing. Maybe after I get that done, I'll log in.
