yes...

The exploitability was talked about as well.

You'd have to wait to award XP bonus until the enemy respawns, but something would have to be done to disallow a rival faction member to bind to an enemy faction rift...

Well, you could do something like this: PC is killed in their town: -they can respawn normally OR IN PLACE for NO XP penalty -if they were killed by a rival faction PC, they get a small defender XP bonus? this has been discussed in other threads...

Even though this is a duplicate thread, I will have to post again - there definately has to be an incentive of some kind to defend your home town, getting XP is best imho, add a gold bonus even better, and give defenders a bonus aura would be cool too... though the NPC bards and clerics buff friendl...

First, beefing the guards up a BIT would be good, but not too high, cuz then towns will be under siege by lvl 36+ people just trying to LVL =] Yes, I understand your idea, but even random, undirected teleporting is no good for the realism thing, and if a DM has to try and figure out who of the onlin...

ugh.. no teleporting!

Erm.. I am liking the higher level of detail and realism in NS4, teleporting has no place in NWN! (Can you say d-i-a-b-l-o? Town Portal WOOT WOOT!) overtaking cities/smithy

Cities are WAY too easy to take over, things should be tweaked so that only a pair of lvl 40's or a group of lvl 30's should be able to penetrate the core of any city/town and take it over. A lvl 17 cleric or wiz or even WM should not be able to kill everything in town with ease (as they can now). P...
