Actaully, it would make a lot of sense to lower the new player helper's id fee to 100 gold or lower, say 50 or 75 gold. After all, she is there to help new players who are learning their way around the Neversummer.

The only thing I have found that it won't work with is equipment that you can't equip for some other reason. For example, you can't use the minotaur dire mace to cast a creeping doom if you can't equip it, I.E. don't have weapon proficiency in dire mace. But I have a bard that can cast quite powerfu...
