Can someone explain to me, in simple language, why it is that a 4th level WIZ with an INT of 19 can only memorise four spells at 1st level? I know quite a few spells but can never use them.

No, I only get the experiance for the one kill. I am on my own and kill with an area spell, but only get the reward for one kill, no matter how many I actually do kill at any one time. Can this be right?

I am a little confused about experiance levels. Why is it that I can kill a monster and get a set level of experiance, but if I happen to kill two at the same time, say with a spell, I only seem to get experiance for one kill?
