Good memories all - thanks for the reminders.
Miss all y'all (well, most of ya ).
Still try and imagine what tilesets I could use to mimic areas in real life - probably always will.
Glad to see you're still having fun!

NS5 is closing it's doors...
Well folks, I'll preface this by saying that this is not an April Fool's joke. The Neversummer 5 development staff has decided to make the difficult choice of ceasing development on NS5. This brings us a lot of sadness - I couldn't begin to tell you how many hours over the last 4 years we've ...

Re: How to aquire Storm of Zehir in Australia???
Just an FYI - Atari is running 50% off many of it's downloads, including NWN2 and the expansion packs.
You can get all three at the moment for just $25...

Re: NS5A um, Glitches?
The design is to have everyone in your party to land on the same map. We'll add that to the list. If you can identify situations where people do transition together in the party at the same time as opposed to landing on different maps, that would be helpful. That's the kind of thing that's hard to t...

It's live and we're in Alpha stage. You can find it in the PW Action category.
Still working out the kinks in some systems before we start adding more content, but it's playable as it is now.

Re: Marash Caverns: East Bug
Yeah - all that data *should* be in the HAK is my point. If you've played on other worlds and have something in your override folder, it's possible that that could cause problems. But, it's not supposed to. Just wanted to track down the obvious before we root further into the problem.

Re: Marash Caverns: East Bug
Are other people experiencing this bug also? Have you played on other PW's and have files in your override directories?
That area uses a Caverns tileset that comes from some community modders.

Re: How Would the Devs Like Feedback?
Yeah - separate posts would probably be good. Or, we could start different threads for bug areas. Or, we could make the bug tracker system we have live if people would be willing to use it. But, having one massive thread containing all bugs is getting a little unwieldy...

Re: NWN2 Client Extension
Since I've posted this last, SkyWing has done a lot of updates to his extension. His most recent version (scroll down to the 'Release 1.0.0.14' posted here http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic.html?topic=712217&forum=118&sp=75) adds support for: - Creating macros that can be used for spell...

Faster area load times?
A few days ago, Cely put an extension on the NWN2 server (described here: http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/vi ... &forum=118) that is supposed to speed up area load times - sometimes dramatically.
Anyone notice any speed-up of area loads as compared to last week or so?

Re: How far?
Interesting. We had targeted Meddia shard for about level 1-2 or 3, the shards after Nexus Alpha to be level 3-6, and the Melenchor shard (that has very few/no creatures yet) targeted at level 6-10.
