Get me the account details and I'll go look at it. Takes me less than a second to reactivate an account.

IP addy's are a little more difficult. Very few people have an IP that stays the same from month to month. You can figure atleast once a month 80% of the community has their IP changed.

We have been discussing and doing a little work on a new forums design. Where we will incorporate NS 3.5 NS 4 and the upcoming NS 5 into one forums. When we deploy it there will also be a database wipe which means new accounts for everyone. I'm not even going to put a "soon" on this as we ...

Opera too, any browser other than IE. Of all the browsers out there IE is the least compliant with published and accepted internet standards. There actually is a group that maintians those and M$ pays little to no attention to them.

Dump IE. If for nothing else its riddled with security holes that tie directly into the OS. Figure that by the time M$ patches the holes the hackers have known about them for atleast a month, and there are plenty of accounts of M$ being notified about issues and NOT patching them until after someone...

IE6 or IE7?

I ask because IE7 is still beta, and microsoft may have decided to scrap yet another set of published internet and browser standards. Switch to Firefox and see if the error persists.

I would hazard a guess that its the subrace/player/faction skins that are equiped on you. If you have played with the toolset you know that there is an invisible second layer of skins that can be applied, and we do.

In addition to Leto thats how you get some of those nifty bonuses.

Check the server details, then see if you have software and hardware firewall ports open, check your router for specifically closed ports. In this case you looking to make sure port 60001 is open.

The maximum level thing is something that bioware sloppily never fixed when they did the expansion packs. As for the rest ... try clearing all your overrides and haks out. If not we'll pass this one on and have the database for you character looked at.

Handy Stuff

List em here and what it does. X-Chat IRC Client. This is such a popular IRC client for linux that it has been ported to windoze as well. Silverex's port is probably the most used in windows. A must have if you use IRC in linux (and since your best help resources are in IRC you had best get a client...

Anti-Virus for linux ... none, you dont need to worry about them anymore. I know of people who have activly tried to infect linux with those pesky windows virii, to the point where they actually helped the virus in its attempt. Never worked, very funny. Nvidia Driver install: http://www.fedorafaq.or...

I've found that I get better performance and unlike vega more stability with linux. Used NWN with the following distro's with no problems:

SUSE 9.1
Debian Woody and Sarge (There is a problem with Etch, which isnt listed as stable yet, in that the nvidia drivers arent there for it)
Xandros 3 OC
