Other places for news/support
This is an old-school thing so I expect many people arent aware of or use it much thanks to web based forums. However news groups contain a suprising amount of information, and its very easy to ask questions and get them answered. Newgroups, unlike forums, require an additional piece of software tha...

I'm the same way, my last desktop I built around 5 years ago and while not competative anymore is still in the game. For a few bucks I can finish the upgrade path I had in mind when I first put it together and it will be a vista capable machine. The trick is in deciding 1 thing and guessing at anoth...

Here is a link for the system I'm building. I went with option 2, and inluding shipping to bush Alaska (it doesnt get more expensive) it cam...

I realize that players dont have access to who is associated with what IP addy's, but since you are one of the few whose IP hasnt changed in forever dont you think pretending to be someone else and playing stupid is just a bit beneath you? For some that is.
I'll be transfering full time to Reflections to help out. For those who think that this is a friendly warning to them and their play style ... your right.

My desktop is 1.2 athlon 133FSB 1gig on board with nVidia fx5500 256meg. 20 - 50 fps. I noticed that you said you got the drivers not from the the ATI site but a secondary. Have you tried the stock drivers from ATI instead to see if that clears you up. When in doubt and troubleshooting its always be...

IE is supported, its just M$ that is broken. There is good news, there is a way to get them to respond to users needs and to fix their products so that they come into compliance. Turn your back on them. By continueing to tolerate and put up with their buggy products you are in essnece telling them t...

Honestly its easier to get the nvidia drivers into FC5 than it is to do it in any debian based distro so far. Ubuntu Edgy holds some promise though, unfortunatly I had a bad download and made a coaster out of my last blank CD so I cant elaborate further on it. When I looked through the cd payload fo...
