Good luck and best wishes.

You can kiss sleep goodbye for a few years so I guess its a good thing you already have a late night hobby.

Let your wife know that we wish her the best and a speedy recovery too.

Update on the comp. Its built, I went with option 2. So let me give a run down on the build pros and cons. Pro: HUGE case. 4 independent drive bays. 1 for 4 5" drive and 3 for 3 3.5" drives. Each of the 3.5" bays is removable with a locking lever so with a flick of a switch you can un...

Other places for news/support

This is an old-school thing so I expect many people arent aware of or use it much thanks to web based forums. However news groups contain a suprising amount of information, and its very easy to ask questions and get them answered. Newgroups, unlike forums, require an additional piece of software tha...

I'm the same way, my last desktop I built around 5 years ago and while not competative anymore is still in the game. For a few bucks I can finish the upgrade path I had in mind when I first put it together and it will be a vista capable machine. The trick is in deciding 1 thing and guessing at anoth...

If your willing to build it yourself you can get a sweet system for $2000. And if you can dress a paper doll you can build a computer, its all slot A to tab B. Here is a link for the system I'm building. I went with option 2, and inluding shipping to bush Alaska (it doesnt get more expensive) it cam...

I realize that players dont have access to who is associated with what IP addy's, but since you are one of the few whose IP hasnt changed in forever dont you think pretending to be someone else and playing stupid is just a bit beneath you? Especially since this is the second new forums account that ...

I know for a fact that its a favored class for human, as I'm building one on each NS4 server right now.

Personally I would like to see bard as favored class for all races and subraces. Roleplay wise it makes sense, even the most repressive society has its story tellers and entertainers.

Put a sign up in dark forest and I'm gonna tell you to move it. Dark Forest is the direct path to 3 factions shutting down half the module because "its fun" and technically legal wont be tolerated. Look carfefully at the actions, as DMs our concern is for community first, last, always. If ...

My desktop is 1.2 athlon 133FSB 1gig on board with nVidia fx5500 256meg. 20 - 50 fps. I noticed that you said you got the drivers not from the the ATI site but a secondary. Have you tried the stock drivers from ATI instead to see if that clears you up. When in doubt and troubleshooting its always be...

IE is supported, its just M$ that is broken. There is good news, there is a way to get them to respond to users needs and to fix their products so that they come into compliance. Turn your back on them. By continueing to tolerate and put up with their buggy products you are in essnece telling them t...

So if I read that correctly your either kill stealing, which is against the rules in faction, or noobie hunting which if done often enough will land you on the wrong side of the log in screen.

So which was it?

Honestly its easier to get the nvidia drivers into FC5 than it is to do it in any debian based distro so far. Ubuntu Edgy holds some promise though, unfortunatly I had a bad download and made a coaster out of my last blank CD so I cant elaborate further on it. When I looked through the cd payload fo...
