personaly i like this idea too a reward system maybe even the head, it shouldnt be too hard to generate a head in ur inventory everytime u respawn or get ressed or log on and when u die it should be possible for that head to drop, the hardest part to do would probably prevent the head or ear or what...

in an MMORPG called everquest i use to play they had a faction system i found it pretty remarkable If you killed certain members of 1 faction then you could gradualy gain acceptance by other factions, usualy factions who considered the 1st faction an enemy and thus be able to enter into their cities...

i agree somethings DO get out of hand and sometimes i take it personaly for instance the other day i was in NC faction territory, im an LA and a generaly good guy, i wont attack someone who cant fight back, well that use to be the case now its all out on anyone who is hostile (except impossibles) :D...
