Re: Death/Respawn penalties
Could it be expanded to lvl 40 with the possible third game expansion? Most likely will stay as it is. There's a looooooong topic somewhere on the NWN2 Bioware forums where some OEI guy explains why. Tl;dr: anything after level 30 is too broken to be worth implementing. This is actually very, very ...

Re: Items in the Economy
A player would have to submit an itemized list of what they wanted and then once approved would have to build it according to NS5's zoning codes (you could even make a guy that they would have to pay to get the zoning permit) and then a dev or dm could place it when accepted. That would minimize th...

He said - you die you lose all your loot so better have a new set stashed away in a bank.Retzbu Tox wrote:I am not sure I grasp what this means...Amoenotep wrote:a banking system to allow for on death drop of all items in your inventory.
Or at least I think that's what he said with aprox 86.43% probability.

Re: Items in the Economy
With Diablo, if I recall correctly you could get your gear repaired with no long-lasting penalty? Correct me if I am wrong, as it has been -many- years since I played the first. This would be a gold-sink, which I dont have a problem with in the least, if it is properly balanced. I didnt play UO or ...

Re: Items in the Economy
ITP: Panic! Someone wants to take away my items! Calm down. Drink some tea. Have a crumpet. There is a high need for removing both items and gold from the economy to stop hyperinflation caused by stockpiling gold and valuable items*. Whatever we decide be assured that (most likely, estimating about...

Re: Project status
Hiya :) I made a living as a programer in the 80's & 90's. 8080, Z80, & 8086 assembly. And Visual Basic in the mid 90's. I learned the NWN C scripting language when NWN first came out. The Lexicon was a lot of help. If you can give me some ideas as to what you need, I'll do my best. I'm disabled an...
