It's making a physical attack. Epic dodge dodges the first physical attack per round. And, you are an idiot if you think that the second check on bigby matters. Nothing can make that save with regularity, nothing.

By that logic, Epic Dodge should be able to avoid the first attack of a Bigby as well.
